STEP 1: Why is it important?
The following podcast gives theoretical background about the indicator and highlights the importance of understanding the matching between the governmental goal and the refugees’ goals.
Main Goals:
- Target the training course to the local and national labour market in order to help refugee students to find a new job
- Adopt a holistic approach which allows to consider not only job issues but also social life and self-realisation in order to help the wider integration process
- Set up a strong collaboration between the VET institutions and the local society like organizations, municipalities and communities in order to provide refugee students with the best possible integration opportunities
- Have a differentiate training offer in order to target the different need of the labour market
- Set up specific internship opportunities in local enterprises in order to give students the chance to acquire work experience and competencies.
