Fourth transnational project meeting in Innsbruck

In February 2024, a fourth transnational meeting of the recovet project took place in Innsbruck, Austria. This meeting was used for a detailed exchange between the partners, especially with regard to the online survey that was about to be launched.  The survey was designed to gather feedback from the broad target group of evaluators and quality experts on the results of the RecoVET project - the online tool, the handbook and the toolbox. The feedback from the evaluators will allow to finalize the project results and start their wide dissemination. The meeting gave all project partners the opportunity to jointly design the media units of the online tool and make minor corrections to improve usability.

In addition, great emphasis was placed on the discussion of the multiplier events to be prepared by all project partners in their home countries. On the one hand, these multiplier events are intended to disseminate the project results in the national specialist circles of the respective countries. On the other hand, these events should become a platform for an informal exchange between the partners and the establishment of new contacts within the professional community dealing with the integration of refugees in the respective countries. The transnational meeting was rounded off with a tour led by representatives of a Fluchtpunkt organization. During the tour, the project participants gained a deep insight into the situation of refugees in Austria, legal procedures and the challenges of refugee integration into the labor market.

Online meeting in December 2023

The project partners met online again before Christmas. There was an intensive exchange on the status of the project results. The partners also agreed on how to proceed with the online survey, which is intended to give the target group of evaluators the opportunity to test the online tool in conjunction with the handbook and toolbox in all four languages. Initially, the online survey questions will be revised by all project participants and finally the links to the respective national online surveys will be made available to the evaluators in each partner country in early 2024. This approach could allow the partners to use the winter months to get the valuable feedback from the target group.

The international RecoVET-team wishes all its members, associated partners, evaluators and other supporters a Merry Christmas and a successful New Year 2024!

Online meeting in September 2023

In September 2023, the project partners met again online. During this exchange, they focused intensively on the work packages related to the translation of the content of the project results. The online tool will be available as a beta tool towards the end of 2023 after translation into three more languages (Italian, Spanish and German). This ambitious task requires a creative effort from all involved and a high level of communication and teamwork. Furthermore, the meeting served to inform the project partners about the online survey that will take place in winter 2023/24. At the third transnational project meeting in Valencia, the partners also agreed to create a series of additional media units to additionally visualise selected indicators. The first examples are already available and could be reviewed by the partners.

Second Transnational Project Meeting in Bergamo

From 14th to 16th November 2022, the RecoVET project partners met in Bergamo in the framework of the 2nd transnational meeting. An intensive exchange was enriched by highly informative contributions from the single partner universities. Thus, the project partners from Valencia spoke about their experiences in creating the animated videos. Furthermore, the University of Bergamo gave a valuable review of the creation of the European handbook in the preceding project GoodVET and the University of Innsbruck outlined their experiences in the area of project dissemination. Besides, all partners participated in a workshop to create the content for the toolbox that will be part of the project results. The lively and enriching discussions of the partners were rounded off by the involvement and assessment of the process by the critical friends of the project. The working packages and deadlines were set. The focus of the partners' work in the coming months will concentrate on the creation of the media units for the English version of the online tool and on the elaboration of the indicators for the content of the RecoVET manual and the tools that could be included in the RecoVET toolbox. RecoVET project meeting digital on the development of the online tool

On July 19, 2022, the next digital project meeting was held, attended by all project partners. The meeting was explicitly dedicated to the further development of the online tool. Partners presented their approach to the quality indicators they have worked on so far and exchanged ideas with other team members. Critical friends of the project were also present and enriched the plenary with their feedback and contributions. The importance of embedding the quality indicators in the evaluation framework was emphasized, as well as the need for a common understanding of terms such as "evidence" for each step of the online tool. The meeting was a supportive activity to help partners better navigate the theoretical framework in the process of creating practical content for the online tool. The meeting served as preparation for another online meeting planned for September 2022 and for the second transnational meeting in Bergamo in November 2022.
