SCHRITT 3: Was habe ich gelernt?
STEP 3: What have I learnt?
1. Why have a clear finance situation is important in an integration project based on VET training?
Explanation: Economic efficiency is an important element in an educational project: in fact, a proper management of the economic funds is vital in order to bring stability to the refugee student’s school and integration path and, in general, to the whole refugee’s assistance system.
2. Why must the assessment of the financial situation be continuous?
Explanation: An accurate economic planning is crucial not only at the beginning of the project but also during the all process, in particular at its end. In fact, this indicator has the objective of assessing if funds have been deployed in a proper way, if stakeholders have been involved in the decision-making process and if initial goals have been reached.
3. Why it is important to crate a supportive financial net?
Explanation: In a practical sense, a positive interaction with the outside world is a very important aspect in a Refugee’s project, therefore it is imperative to create more dynamic interactions with the local entrepreneurs and develop new educational strategies, such as an online learning platform, in cooperation with partners. It is also important to create tangible and intangible benefits for all involved participants, including students and community working together.
4. Is a constant feedback from stakeholders important?
Explanation: Yes, managers have to constantly work with stakeholders in order to stress the importance of their contribution, and, at the same time, they have to find new sponsors, resources and strategies that allow the program to be efficient and effective. In order to do this, VET providers must set up regular meetings in which ongoing situation is monitored and discussed and in which troubles are highlighted.
