STEP 1: Why is it important?

Main Goals:

  • Identification of the assessment of refugee students' learning progress in the educational process. 
  • Recognition of the process and ways in which these assessments are adapted to the context and learner profile. 
  • Understand the importance of assessing without bias and stereotypes: risk of bias and expectations about learners' abilities. 
  • Encouragement through appropriate standards and assessment criteria, self-direction and reflective practice.
