1. What should be considered to carry out the viable evaluation of learning methods for refugees?
Explanation: The teaching methods which are used for refugees especially in vocational education have to be developed and evaluated as well. There are not enough empirical findings about this topic, because there are no clear regulations or curricula for this target group, In consideration of the mostly lacking competence of the target group, their language skills of the new language, it might be sometimes more difficult to get a teaching evaluation directly from the students.
2. What methods could be considered for the evaluation in this regard?
Explanation: There are several methods for getting nevertheless a valid evaluation from the participating students. By the help of non-verbal feedback for example at the end of each lesson the instructors can achieve a kind of evaluation to their lesson. This feedback can be improved from time to time. Another good point for getting valid evaluation about the teaching method is to integrate other stakeholders like for example trainers, supervisors but also promoting companies or foundations or people from administration points. They can give evaluation rich in content about the learning progress of the students.
4. Which methods of evaluation and feedback are more advisable with regard to vocational training for refugee students: evaluation forms at the end of the course or feedback throughout the teaching process?
Explanation: There are differing opinions on whether it is better to conduct evaluation activities during or at the end of a course. For example, if a class evaluation form is not distributed until the end of the course, it is not possible for the teacher to make useful changes for currently enrolled students. On the contrary, evaluation throughout the course can help teachers identify the successful parts of their courses and understand what needs to be improved. Furthermore, a number of additional factors can influence the results of a student assessment, such as the student's skills, interest, and knowledge in the particular subject area.
