1. Why are the entrance requirements important for the quality of the integration of the refugees?
Explanation: The requirements are needed to get pre-selection of a more homogeneous group, which more likely will succeed with finishing that particular education. Nevertheless, certain requirements are also a point of discussion, because informal knowledge receives little attention, yet.
2. What are the potential benefits and risks to include formal and informal entrance evidences of knowledge?
Explanation: The benefits of this approach is that all applicants are allowed to enter the course. However there is a risk, that the school might need much moer effort. For example, additional diagnostics may be misleading and result to a not correct evaluation of the refugee skills and background knowledge.
3. What are the consequences of the entrance requirements for the resources of the institution?
Explanation: The fewer entrance requirements lead to a more heterogeneous classes. Therefore, the school needs more resources (especially trainers). Stricter requirements lead to a more homogenious class. However, the school needs resources to arrange the entry tests and carry out the interviews.
4. Based on your experience what are the evidences of the age level of the class and what documents could you consult to get this knowledge ?
Explanation: Personal data is a most common prerequisite for the vocational programs. This infoamtion could be found in the student personal data collected and kept by the school.
5. What are the evidences of the language level of the students ?
Explanation: The laguage level could be evaluated from the language certificates provided by the students as well as through the entry tests arranged by the school.
6. What evidences of the informal vocational education and prior working experience of the students can you think of?
Explanation: Certificates for the informal vocational education, student portfolios as well as informal entry tests to demonstrate the skills could serve an evidence of prior knowledge of different kind.
